Under Jeevandan scheme Osmania Medical College and hospital has been conducting training programs for Transplant coordinators and ICU Nurses.

In 2015 acedemic year, 41 Transplant coordinators from various hospitals were trained.

In 2016 acedemic year, 108 Transplant coordinators from various hospitals were trained.

In 2017 acedemic year, training program as transplant coordinator is specially designed.

Latest amendments of Transplantation of Human Organs Act 1994 showing that,

“No Hospital Shall be registered under this act, unless the appropriate authority is satisfies that such hospital has appointed a transplant coordinator having such qualification and experience may be prescribed”.

Any graduate from recognized system of medicine or Nurse or any bachelor degree in any science or in social work or psychiatry or sociology or social science or public health.
