Under Jeevandan scheme Osmania Medical College and hospital has been conducting training programs for Transplant coordinators and ICU Nurses.

In 2015, 41 Transplant coordinators from various hospitals were trained and for 2016 training program for ICU nurses is specially designed.

Latest amendments of Transplantation of Human Organs Act 1994 showing that,

“No Hospital Shall be registered under this act, unless the appropriate authority is satisfies that such hospital has appointed a transplant coordinator having such qualification and experience may be prescribed”.

Any graduate from recognized system of medicine or Nurse Or any bachelor degree in any science or in social work or psychiatry or sociology or social science or public health
